Raffaella Lebano

Raffaella Lebano coordinates Board Services at Birn+Partners Italy, with a particular focus on developing the skills required for future governance and preparing new generations of professionals for roles on boards of directors.

With over twenty years’ managerial and entrepreneurial experience across a range of sectors, including media, services and the third sector, she has gained a broad understanding of business dynamics, decision-making processes and the challenges associated with the growth and transformation of organisations.

Her scientific background, complemented by an Executive MBA, has helped her develop an approach that combines rigour in data analysis, strategic vision and lateral thinking. She starts with the figures to understand organisational dynamics, identifying opportunities and solutions even beyond the most conventional approaches.

Throughout her career, she has made lateral thinking a distinctive tool for tackling organisational challenges, improving processes and promoting innovation. Empowering people and developing teams capable of expressing creativity, autonomy and responsibility are central elements of her leadership style.

Her work at Birn+Partners focuses on developing governance preparation programmes, with the aim of fostering a convergence between established experience, new skills and younger generations. She is convinced that the evolution of boards of directors requires not only technical expertise, but also the ability to interpret change, integrate different perspectives and consciously address economic, technological and social transformations.

She is also a co-founder of Trending Peace, an innovative start-up that has developed a model to measure and strengthen businesses’ contribution to Positive Peace. This project stems from the conviction that the quality of relationships, trust, responsibility and the ability to manage conflicts constructively are strategic factors for the stability and competitiveness of organisations.

His focus: to contribute to the development of a new culture of governance, capable of fostering generational renewal and preparing professionals who can bring complementary skills, perspectives and visions to boards. Because the quality of today’s decisions determines businesses’ ability to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.
